Louisville Colorado Real Estate

First of all, Louisville is close to Boulder. In fact, Boulder is the closest city with a population over 50,000 and it is only eight miles away. That means living in Louisville and commuting to work in Boulder is no problem and may very well save you money on your real estate investment. The biggest city with a population over 200,000 is Denver and it is only 20 miles away, so commuting is still an option. Other close by cities include Superior, Lafayette, Broomfield, Gunbarrel, Erie, Eldorado Springs, and Niwot.

There was a real estate boom in the late ’90s when many homes were built. But since then fewer new home construction permits have been sold. However, those that have been sold are for more expensive homes than in past years. This suggests home prices may be going up. So, if you are looking to live in Louisville you should get in while real estate prices are still affordable.

Monarch High School is the city’s high school. There are several middle and primary schools including Monarch K-8 School, Louisville Middle School, St Louis Elementary School, and Seven Oaks Academy of Louisville.

Some of the colleges and universities nearby include the University of Colorado at Boulder, Front Range Community College, Colorado School of Mines, Emily Griffith Opportunity School, Red Rocks Community College, and more.

When it comes to jobs the unemployment rate is incredibly low and finding a job should not be a problem. With both Boulder and Denver close by there are a lot of jobs to be had. The industries that offer the most jobs in the Louisville area include social services, health, and education. Waste management services, scientific, professional, administrative, management, manufacturing, and retail trade are also other industries that provide employment. About 22% of the city both lives and works in Louisville while a large percentage of individuals commute to other cities to work.

Louisville is a beautiful place to live and once you visit you will see what a lovely place this city is. If you are looking for real estate in Colorado then Louisville is certainly a wonderful option!

Where you live, is it someplace I’d like to visit or relocate to?

I’m thinking of relocating but climate is most important followed closely by cultural interests. I’m currently in Denver, but would like milder winters (meaning not 6 months of snow) and low humidity in the summers with temperatures not exceeding 90 degrees. Job market is important because I do want to eat, LOL, but I’m also artsy and would like to expand on that part of my life. Real estate needs to be realistic. Southern California, where I grew up and one of my favorite places, but is way out of my price range… Nice single family housing should be under $200K, preferably under $100K, but that’s almost unheard of these days, isn’t it? I’ll be retiring in 20 years so it should be someplace friendly to the senior citizen population too!!! (Must be in the USA)

Share with me your location and what you like, love, dislike & hate about it.

Missouri is a great place, as I’ve been born and raised in Cali so I know about Calis’ humongousness. I was born in santa Maria. Anyways… I love Missouri. I love living here, everyone I love practically is here. I Have been here around KC for about 14yrs now, off and on, since moving to Independence from Santa maria, cali. It’s humid, but not dreadfully so, unless it’s ‘one of those days.’ Housing is quit a bit less exp than in California, and jobs’ re very good here. I don’t, however, like the fact that we dont’ get much snow here. But we do sometimes. Depending on the winter. I love the people here… very friendly, esp in downtown KC, believe it or not, though there’re gangs and what-not. Summers are hot, but hardly exceed your 90 degree ‘thing.’ I dislike the Royals, cause they suck, but miss seeing htem play when I’d og wtih my dad. I liekt he chiefs, when they win. Hate? I hate the mosquitos here. Nuff sad. Come to missouri and find out for yourself. Great state. Friendly people… beautiful weather…. not too huge, not too small. Lots of country where it counts, enough city wher eit counts. Amen.
