A Builders Success Story in Dacono Colorado

I’m Dan Polimino with ColoradoDreamHouse.com and this week’s market update for Denver, Colorado for the week of May 10. Okay, I’ve got a great success story to tell you about.

I represent a builder who is building a subdivision called Eagle Meadow Estates. It’s north of the City of Denver, about 30 to 35 minutes north along I25 in a suburb called Dacono, Colorado. Now, at one point this was a very hot area and it was hot exactly when this builder started the project in late 2006 early 2007, but then again, the economy crashed, funding got shut off, but this builder was able to hold on to the project and survived the storm.

As a result, he is glad he did because things have really turned around for Eagle Meadow Estates. Let me give you an example. Over the last 18 months to two years, we maybe had four phone calls in an entire year about a house in this subdivision. Now, we are getting about a phone call a day, so we went from four phone calls in a year to seven a week. Quite a turnaround!

He primarily builds homes three hundred and fifty thousand and below and he builds two models in Eagle Meadow Estates. He builds a two-storey and a ranch. The two-storey is about 3200 square feet, the ranch is about 3500 square feet, both are three bedrooms, two baths, both have three car garages, both come with an outbuilding and both are on a half acre to three quarter acre lot.

So you get an awful lot for your money and I think that’s why it’s doing so well. But again, a good success story here for the spring and May of 2010. If you would like to find out more about Eagle Meadow Estates, you can contact me at ColoradoDreamHouse.com. Have a great week!
